Why Does My Skin Purge?

In our clinic we get asked about skin purging and if our products will give people more acne.  The answer to this is two fold.  First off, some people especially if they have non inflamed acne purging will most likely happen when the correct products are being used to soften the skin and allow clogged pores to open up and debris underneath to come to the surface. The little-known fact here is that acne can start deep beneath the skin and take 3 to 4 months to make it's way to  the surface.
